Julia is so lovely to work with! She has taken my childrens holiday photos for the last two years. She is so sweet with them and captures amazing photos. Its also a seamless process to schedule and all we have to do is show up. Worth every penny, thank you Julia!!

Julia is amazing we have come to her few times already and it has always been a wonderful experience. One of the things we really enjoy is that Julia gives advise on how to pose for the photo, also fully understanding our special request to take pics of the family with our 2 little dogs. Julia is very accommodating, professional and caring. Highly recommend Julia for any artistic photo or video you might need. We did our son's newborn shoot with Julia, and INCREDIBLE would be an understatement. She knew exactly what to do, and even taught us a few things of keeping our then newborn calm. She was so patient throughout the entire photoshoot, and took her time with a squirmy newborn to ensure she got perfect shots. She was also so kind and sensitive with my husband and I, as we had just gone through a rough delivery and stay at the hopsital due to my son having a heart issue. She even incorporated his heart defect, and his little IV marks and spots in the photos, and of course made me cry happy tears! She was just overall an incredible human being which is important when you're allowing someone with your precious little ones.

I rely heavily on reviews to guide my decisions and my hope is that this review does the same for others who are seeking out photography services. Julia has photographed my kids for the holidays for the last four or so years, a sort of Christmas tradition for us now, and I will continue to seek out her photographic eye for as long as possible! She is wonderful with my kids - seriously, she gets the BEST shots of them - in our last shoot, my 5 year-olds walk out of that studio like they just signed a modeling contract. Julia has a way of relaxing them and getting them to to be comfortable, so much so that my kids wanted to KEEP TAKING photos. And the photos were pure gold! Julia is a wonderful and enthusiastic photographer with immense patience. I had a number of issues arise with scheduling and payment (all my fault) and she has been so responsive, understanding, and good-natured about it all. As if I needed anymore reason to continue booking her, she's local - this is the cherry on top. Julia is Bay Ridge raised, and her studio is a sweet and accessible local space. She's the entire package.
