Dr. Jones performed surgery on my three year old. She explained the entire process and called to check up on him after the surgery. My son has a better quality of life thanks to Dr. Jones!!

My recent visit to Dr. Jacqueline E. Jones left me feeling extremely frustrated and, honestly, a bit cheated. I'd like to share my experience so that others might avoid a similar situation. Here's what went down: I had an appointment with Dr. Jones on May 12, 2023. I ended up with a hefty bill of $2,725 for the following services: - Nasal Endoscopy - $1,100 - Endoscopy of Larynx - $675 - Removal of impacted ear wax - $550 - New patient visit - $400 Now, here's the thing. The Nasal Endoscopy and the Endoscopy of Larynx, according to my understanding, are pretty much the same thing. I didn't get any other procedure, just this one. I did a bit of research and found out that the typical cost of this service is between $278 to $438. I'm still scratching my head over why I was charged $675! As for the $550 ear wax removal, well, I wouldn't exactly call it "removal". Dr. Jones swabbed my ear with a solution-soaked cotton swab for a quick second. That was it! I read up on what a proper ear wax removal procedure involves, and its not just a cotton swab. It typically includes flushing out the wax with warm water, saline, or diluted hydrogen peroxide. Sometimes, medicated ear drops are recommended. I didnt get any of that. The reason I chose Dr. Jones was because she's in-network and affiliated with Mount Sinai. Ive had treatments from other Mount Sinai ENT docs before and I had an idea of how they operate. I never imagined the costs could be so free-ranged and, frankly, unreasonable. Navigating medical bills can be really tricky, and we patients arent always well-equipped to do it. It feels like we're at the mercy of doctors and their pricing systems. But, isn't it their responsibility to be fair and transparent with us? Isnt it their job to help us, not leave us feeling ripped off? I hope my review will make you think twice before visiting Dr. Jones. It's important that we patients look out for each other and share our experiences. Nobody should feel bullied by a doctor, especially when it comes to finances. Heres to hoping for better healthcare experiences for all of us! Remember, this is just my personal experience and opinion. Always do your own research and make an informed decision about your healthcare providers.

I was charged $2,000+ dollars for a 45 minute diagnostic appointment. Billing included questionable CPT coding. Don't go if you have a deductible.

Dr. Jackie Jones is the best! I have referred many of my pediatric speech therapy clients to Dr. Jackie Jones and they all have an incredible experience. She is knowledgeable, proactive and takes the time to call me to discuss speech goals related to her ENT expertise.
