My young son was turned away for an appointment because we arrived 2 minutes past the grace period. I entered the lobby at 10:15 but arrived in the office at 10:17. I even called the practice a half hour before our time to let them know wed be running late. Although, it is not a pediatric practice, I was infuriated that the physician would not see my 3 year old who was in discomfort. As parents we know how difficult and stressful it can be getting our child to a doctors appointment. I do NOT recommend this practice for a young patient.

This office is a scam, they will charge your insurance for multiple copays in one visit for things as simple as a hearing test. Please avoid and save the headache.

We received a referral from our pediatrician to see an ENT for my son's post-flu bilateral ear infections and sinus infection. We were able to be seen that same week at one of the 2 doctors she referred us to, ENT & Allergy Associates. We saw Dr. Colen at the location in downtown Brooklyn at Pierrponte Plaza. The doctor was very thorough and professional and really took her time to treat my son's infections and hearing loss with a 10-day course of Cefdinir, which was easier on his stomach and healed everything up (highly recommended for ENT infections!). But the front office staff is awful with the exception of one whose name I think is Tiffany - whoever you are, thank you for being exceptional at your job even when staff around you clearly isn't! I'd received a text for our follow-up appointment, which I immediately confirmed. When we arrived for the appointment, we were told by 2 front office staff that I had canceled it. At first one lied, "you canceled it when I called" and then changed it to "you canceled it when I texted." The 2 staff teamed up to cover their scheduling mistake and acted like I had canceled via text even though I showed them proof on my phone that it was confirmed. The 2 staff went out of their way to be rude about their error, going so far as to call me a liar to my face ("they be cappin"') and then stormed out when I called them out on their behavior, yelling "now I'm gonna to make sure you definitely aren't seeing the doctor today!" Another staff from the back office came up front to see what the problem was and said I had canceled the main appointment but confirmed the audio test that accompanied it -- while talking to me in a patronizing voice like I was in kindergarten. Why would anyone drive all the way from Sheepshead Bay to downtown Brooklyn in rush hour traffic for an appointment they canceled?? Clearly whatever text they thought they sent about one appointment never reached my phone and if it did, why would I cancel one but confirm the other?? The 3rd staff member walked back to wherever she had been and loudly announced that she needs to take PTO, as though dealing with patients whose appointments should be honored was super stressful. The only professional/helpful staff member came back for us and as we sat in a different room nearby waiting to be seen by the doctor, the other 2 staff talked loudly about me and even their coworker who had actually done her job ("Tiffany should have had our back"). These two R-A-T-C-H-E-T staff acted like the office was after school at a McDonald's. No one except Dr. Colen apologized for or acknowledged the error or the rudeness of the staff (with the exception of the one). The doctor walked us out to see the staff but they had all left for the day already (SHOCKING!). I normally expect to have staff handle co-pays, receipts and any follow-up appointments after seeing a doctor not NOT HEREI Better believe I'm checking my bank statements and EOBs for how this clown show billed me. I understand why our pediatrician refers patients to this group because Dr. Colon and the medical team was great, the office was clean and appointments were readily accessible, but I will never bring my son here again. It doesn't matter how good the medical staff is or how professionally they conduct themselves if the front office is the complete opposite.
