The doctor is friendly and nice, but the admin people lack professionalism. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30, and when I arrived they said they gave my appointment to someone else because I never responded with "Confirm" via text. It was not mentioned in the text the appointment would automatically be cancelled if I didn't respond. I definitely just assumed it was a reminder similar to how other places do it. And the front desk person wasn't accommodating or understanding at all that I travelled all the way there for a scheduled appointment. Definitely never coming here again.

I would avoid any interaction with the old receptionist specifically. I went in to check out frames, and she followed me around. I could see her the entire time staring at me in the mirror, making me uncomfortable. I found a pair of frames I was interested in purchasing in-store but at a later date and wanted to remember the brand. Before I could take a picture of the frames, she quickly ran towards me and snatched them out of my hands, telling me I wasn't allowed to and to go to somewhere else to try on frames. This is highly disgusting and unprofessional behavior, and I would advise going to other Pearle Visions in the area since apparently this is not the first negative review about the receptionist and you're not allowed to try on frames at this one. Edit: They will also respond to you with a blatant lie to save face online and have the audacity to think you would actually return to their racist and lying establishment; it's comical. Corporate has been contacted, and theyll help you review the footage since you seem to be struggling.

The service here is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have been shopping for glasses for Myself,My Mom and My five children for years From Pearle Vision and other establishments. This was My 1st time at this location Because I was in the neighborhood. But of course people want to see how the glasses look on their face. You can also take pictures which I have done in plenty of stores with no issues, but my daughter goes in here A few days ago as Im on the phone. she walks into the establishment she is trying on a pair of frames, and she is getting attacked by this woman, telling her to put it down But thats what people do they try on frames to see how they look in the frames and shes showing her Mother. It shouldnt have been an issue. We Will never go back, disrespectful Worker, they need to find better customer service at this location I have shopped at many eyeglass places and Pearle Vision for many years, took pictures of the tags and the glass frames on and off my face to how they look so I can make a final decision on which pairs Im gonna purchase because I buy multiple at a time, I might decide to order it online I might come back to the store But you cannot tell people they cannot take a picture of glasses on their face Attack them stand over them and snatch things out of their hand. You will not be getting my service ever again nor my family and you dont have to worry about us coming back and your response on her review is a lie she was not asked not to do that. She did not ignore any staffs request and was asked to leave, you came over rude and disrespectful. She felt uncomfortable and left on her own. and everywhere we shopped never had a issue doing this, so your incorrect. Youre the first who ever said something out of the Many years of shopping for glasses If people cannot try on or touch your glasses or take pictures, maybe youre the wrong business. People do it with Glasses people do it with clothes People do with anything they purchase, and I will tell all my friends and family about you. your lost. People want to be treated with kindness and respect while theyre shopping and spending their money. Advice people . Dont go to this location..

I write this very belatedly (well over a year later) in light of a far superior experience I had going to Union Square Eye Care, where the contrast in office professionalism, customer service, and most importantly the final product was so stark that only in retrospect did I see what a waste of time, effort, and money it was to have gone to this Pearle Vision. Perhaps theyre alright if you have fairly straightforward vision needs but if you wear hard contact lenses, this is not the place to go. Dr. Cohen is fine enough, but she was essentially happy to send me home with contacts that I found incredibly uncomfortable (felt like they were scratching my eyes for over a week before I finally adjusted to them) and gave me incredible headaches especially while working on screens. Ive worn hard lenses for 3 decades and never experienced this, but rather than working with me to address the problem, she said the manufacturer only allowed one adjustment and then I had to choose a pair, even though I disliked both. Ultimately I ended up using only one of the lenses she gave me and paired it one lens from my old pair, until I found an entirely new optometrist who actually addressed my needs.
