I didn't make an appointment and I didn't go there just because I read all the comments,,they scared me away. I need a new prescription so badly but willing to walk and drive around blind just to not be treated badly if I did go there.. When I read some awesome reviews in the future maybe I will take a chance.. I truly hope this company fixes there customer service and doctor issues if not why even stay open..??

Terrible experience! 3:30 hrs to get an eye exam is ridiculous, with an appointment! Worst experience ever . They lost me as a customer.

I want to start off by saying the customer service representatives were super helpful in trying to resolve my issue. I give them 5 stars. Davis Vision closed my location in Bay Ridge. I had always had most excellent care there. Even though Gateway is a long drive with always lots of traffic, I decided to get my glasses prescription and contact lens fitting updated there. After a 2 month wait it was my appointment date. To my surprise I was not seen in person by a Doctor! They did a TELE-DOC virtual appointment to check my eyes. I asked for a copy of the script, and told the Zoom Doc the script could not be right. It was so far off from the last time I had my eyes checked at 86th street. When my glasses and contacts came in, a month later, I went for the fitting. I couldn't see a thing through the glasses. The customer service person squeezed me in to see the in-person Doc. The script was totally off. So glasses and contacts get reordered. Another month goes by and I am making the third trip to pick up the second pair. They were passable. Still not great. And there was another one month wait to see the Doc for the contact lens fitting. I gave up, and went to Costco. I got 2 pairs of fully loaded glasses for the price of what one pair cost me at Davis, within a couple of weeks. Not to mention the 9 hours I spent in traffic, and 4 months total it took in wait time to get incorrect glasses from my vision insurance company. The Davis store staff was courteous, and helpful. The company just couldn't manage to get a correct prescription and execution.

I was offered an appointment for 9AM, at 9AM the doors were still locked. When they finally opened the young lady who opened had a very bad attitude. When I asked her questions she answered mumbling and with attitude. She even huffed and breathing hard a few times as if she was annoyed. After my eye exam she was the only one at the front desk and didn't want to help me. She ended up having to help me because the other person's PC was not showing my info. She still had an attitude. For this reason I will not be going back to vision works. Poor customer service! The reason for 2 stars is the good service from the doctor.
