This review is a buyers beware type of review. I am also writing this as a seller of a recent co-op apartment in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Our buyers on a recommendation of their agent were advised to go to this WFHM branch. The loan officer Joseph Ferrante would constantly over-promised and continue to under-deliver. The entire deal to close took 7.5 months because the buyers had no guidance throughout the loan process. We went into contract in April 2019, the loan was just funded a few days ago in November 2019. Back in June, when Joseph contact me (the seller) to help him get what was a "CO-OP" Approval for the bank, I helped him and guided him to the correct parties and he received all the necessary information to get the building "approval". At that point in time, when I asked Joseph how was the loan processing going, he continued to say, "it's in final, it's in final", those were his words for roughly two months. As time continued to pass and this continued to stretch, I came to a common sense realization this was nowhere near "final", the buyers DID NOT EVEN HAVE A COMMITMENT from the bank! All I ask for is professional courtesy and provide accurate and complete updates, otherwise there would be no reason for me to follow up. After our attorney issued a time of the essence notice, things started to move, they finally issued their commitment letter in October and were cleared to close mid November as we were kind enough to waive the time of essence in order to make the closing happen. To add to the additional drama, on the day of the closing, we waited 3 hours for the bank to release the funding. The buyers lawyer, the bank attorney AND the buyers (Joseph's clients) all were reaching out to him via text messages, emails, phone calls. Joseph did NOT reply to a single text message, phone call or email. PATHETIC. To whomever is looking to either obtain a mortgage, please do your homework and ensure your loan officer is credible and is professional to do his or her duties as a loan officer. P.S. The manager "ROB" was no help either, ended up hanging up or rushing me off the phone on many occasions.

i called few times from 10am-330pm. no one picks up the calls. i guess there business is so well that they completed careless for more business.
