Ron is very knowledgeable and responsive. Trying his best to get us the best rate given the current financial situation. He is someone you can rely on. Highly recommended!

Do not use them. I've consulted Yifan and he told me to fake my income documents in order to get the loan. He is very shady, also told me about making up a statement to qualify. I ended up using other bank.

I have used a different mortgage officer several times now on both purchase and refinancing of mortgage (let's just call him "S"). S was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, but he always got us the best rates/terms several time. This time around, however, instead of just going to S, I decided to shop around mortgage, shame on me, because both rates and home prices are at all time high and even a little lower rate can save me hundreds of dollars of difference monthly. In fact, CrossCountry Mortgage found a lender that gave me a better rate/term than S was able to offer, or so I thought. So I told S I'm sorry, I decided to go with a different mortgage officer this time, because they offered a better rate. That same day S gave me a call, a very courteous call, not nasty call like you would imagine someone would give after you turned down their business. He told me that he did his diligence and he was certain that he already looked at the lender the CrossCountry was quoting me on, and didn't think that I'd qualify for a mortgage with that specific lender due to my special circumstances. This was a specific circumstance that I knew would cause many lenders not want to lend, so I specifically mentioned to my mortgage Officer Ron at CrossCountry ahead of time, several times in fact. After S called me, I called my mortgage officer Ron and asked to double check into this, then he sends me an email "your new rate is XXX" from a different lender, higher rate and less favorable terms. No sorry, no sense of shame, no explanation of why he failed to address the very concern that I have repeatedly warned him about. What would have happened to me, if I went through with Ron's initial proposal and S didn't give me that courtesy call? I probably would have had to breach the contract on the purchase of the house because I would have found out much later in the closing process (probably too late) that I wouldn't qualify for a mortgage, and lose my 10% down payment and the home that I thought would be mine. Needless to say, I ended up using S, and next time I will go straight to him without shopping (and also needless to say, CrossCountry will never get any more business from me). For those of you looking for new mortgage, don't get deceived by the 4.9 star review that CrossCountry has. They don't do their due diligence, they don't spend enough time for you to make sure you actually qualify, and you might not find out until its too late. Then you would have wished you read my review, and stayed away from them.

I had the pleasure of getting a mortgage with Marsha M. at CrossCountry. The process can always be stressful for she was always calm and explained each step. Their portal is the best..very easy to upload your docs. I had alot (I mean ALOT) of questions, but again she was knowledgeable and always calm. There was a bump in the road, and she offered a resolution that saved the deal!! I cannot say enuf Thank You's to her. Reach out to Marsha for your real estate financing...like now!!

I worked with John Gnisci who is truly an exceptional professional. He responded to my questions quickly, put my mind at ease, provided great insight, and made the whole experience as easy as possible. My closing was on time (sooner than I expected in early January, even with the holiday disruption), I got a great rate and some cash out which I was not able to get on a previous financing elsewhere. This is my second loan with John, my first with CC. Everything so far has gone smoothy the team was great, their website and document center easy to work with. I will definitely come back to Cross Country and to John, and recommend him wholeheartedly!
