Grandmaster Herbert is one of the most dedicated people in the martial arts world Ive ever had the chance to talk to. He was helpful and welcoming in every regard. His school is very professional and clean, and his employees are very kind. I cannot recommend it enough to both people who have experience in training martial arts and complete beginners alike.

World Martial Arts Center is a beautiful school with an incredible community founded by Sabumnim, Master David Herbert. I was a student years ago and continue to use what I learned from Sabumnim, the instructors, and fellow students in many aspects of my life now. The classes are fun even though it is challenging. Students of all ages learn in a respectful environment. I went there looking for a workout but what I received was so much more than I could have imagined.

From the first time I came to World Martial Arts, I knew I had found an extraordinary place. The space is gorgeous, filled with light, welcoming and peaceful. It feels like such a privilege to be there, to learn from such gifted, patient, accomplished instructors. Everyone who enters is treated with respect and kindness. Classes are balanced, challenging, and engaging. Sabumnim is a master in every sense of the word, and the atmosphere and community that he has created are a testament to this. I am very grateful to have found such a treasure, and very much look forward to continuing to learn in this wonderful school.

Four years ago I was looking for a martial arts school for my son, who at the time was 7 years old. I did some research and found World Martial Arts Center, and I began bringing him to childrens classes every Saturday. After a year of bringing my son every week to class, I decided to try a class myself. Participating as an adult student revealed an entirely different side of WMAC to me: I felt the power and encouragement of the devoted and highly-trained instructors, and even as a newcomer to the training floor I experienced the support and love of the other WMAC members who trained alongside me. Once I tried it, I knew that this is where I belonged, and I embarked on my own martial arts journey of personal growth and self-discovery. Finding WMAC has been one of the best things to happen to me and my family. Training has not only helped me keep physically fit, but has opened realms of spiritual experience to me that I couldnt have imagined. On that Sunday afternoon four years ago, when I put on a white belt for the first time and walked onto the mats, I only thought about getting some exercise and sharing a physical activity with my son. I had no idea that the physical training was a doorway into a deep personal practice that has touched many parts of my life. Its exciting to think that you, reading this review, might be on the threshold of undertaking a journey like mine. 2023 Update: I can still say without reservation that training at World Martial Arts Center has done more for my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing that anything else I can imagine. I am very grateful to have these dedicated instructors and martial arts Masters in my life.

Thank you so much Tasha for your appreciation and thoughtfulness, you are truly a special soul. One of one the best things I ever learned during my 56 year journey in the martial arts, was to surround myself with truly good people and to value them for the beautiful souls that they are. From the first day you came into our community, you brought warmth and sunshine with you and you continue to do so every day you come. It’s members like you that make World Martial Arts Center such an incredibly special place. I’m sure you are an extraordinary yoga teacher and every one that you touch is blessed to have you as a teacher. I have no doubt that you will blossom into an amazing martial artis and possibly even a future instructor here at the World Martial Arts Center. We’re grateful to have you in our community.

Thank you so much Daniel for your wonderful review and for being such a devoted student, blacbelt and very impressive instructor. When you first started your training, I knew you were special but I had no idea what a powerhouse and incredible asset you would become. It's very rare to find even masters in the martial arts with the level of flexibility, physical conditioning and amount of martial arts you have learned in just a few years. You have accomplished more as a woman in your 60s than most men accomplish in thier 20s and 30s in the martial arts. Thank you for being an amzing inspiration to us all and your unwavering support.

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful student and blessing to the World Martial Arts Center. I'm sure that you understand what it means to have wonderful students coming from your background of decades working in education. You are a beautiful treasure not only as a student but also as a teacher at the world martial arts center. How many martial arts schools are there that can say they have a school principal teaching classes? How many martial arts schools can say they have instructors in their 70s teaching and training with 20-year-olds like they were in their 20s. You exude such a high level of professionalism, dignity, strength, respect, kindness, and wisdom, all the qualities of master. Maybe you can replace me as headmaster someday.
