Zapped

I have been seeing Julia for years for electrolysis hair removal and some laser treatments. As a blonde and a person with pcos, electrolysis is a better choice for hair removal than laser. I love the small boutique feeling of zapped, it feels very personal and private. Julia has amazing bedside manor and she is great at making you feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. She is super professional and great at what she does. Electrolysis is super tedious but she stays focused and works thoroughly and efficiently but still has fun conversations if you want to, which made the hours that I spent with her every week feel like it flew by. Electrolysis seriously improved my confidence and my life and if you are struggling with unwanted hair I cant recommend it enough and especially with Julia and her team at zapped. You will not regret it and you will not find a better spot than zapped! Service: Laser therapy

I purchased a package of 10 and enjoyed the staff on my 2 visits. Following Zapped canceling of my 3rd appointment, I kept calling to schedule a new appointment. Having received no answer I texted a staff member and learned Zapped is OUT OF BUSINESS. Had I not reached out I wouldve received no notification of their closing. I have NOT received a refund for the 8 sessions I never received. Please be careful. ******UPDATE 2/1/2023 Zapped is under new ownership! The new owner Julia personally reached out to the previous owner on my behalf and confirmed my refund.

I wanted to update my review as I continue to come back to Zapped for Jayalis expertise and warm hospitality- I dont let anyone else touch my skin, brows or face anymore except her. I recently was away for a few months and still refused to purchase services elsewhere because I knew they would not live up to the high standards Jayali has set. Shes beyond knowledgeable about every topic in her realm of work and is also super kind, patient, and informative. She keeps you updated on the steps and reasoning of the process and allows you to fully relax because you know youre in the best hands possible. Jayali is a true professional who provides the best services in Brooklyn. Thank you Jayali!!

I had the best facial Ive ever received at this place. 100% would recommend and come back. Ellie is an amazing esthetician who is caring and explains everything she does during the facial.
