Quiet place but people like to smoke in the building lobby instead of going outside. This is troubling. Most of them don't live in the building but they've been doing this for years. They have no respect for where they live.

Worse people in the world is that management. Even if you work for the department. People in the office think they above everyone. Really you just work there

I had the misfortune of renting from a NYCHA landlord who deserves zero stars. Words cannot describe how terrible my experience was with this landlord. They were unresponsive to the point of being non-existent. No matter what method of communication I used, they never responded. It was impossible to get them to address any of my concerns or issues. Even transfer requests were a nightmare. They promised me a transfer, only to drag me along for months before finally crushing my hopes. It was a shameless bait-and-switch. The mold problem in my apartment was out of control, and the landlord refused to fix it, despite claiming to care about tenant health. I suffered from mold-related health problems, and it was unbearable. To add insult to injury, the landlord increased my rent by 900% right after this August, showing their pure greed. They were absent during crucial hours, leaving me in the lurch when I needed them the most. In short, this NYCHA landlord was an absolute disgrace. They didn't care about their tenants, which was evident in every aspect of their management. I wouldn't wish this nightmare of a landlord on my worst enemy. I urge you to stay far away if you value your sanity, health, and hard-earned money. Zero stars are too generous for them.
