Working with these people has allowed my father to stay in his home in his later years. Hes been able to maintain his independence, something which is extremely important to him. He doesnt want to go to a nursing home. That time may still come but I feel like weve done well in delaying it.

Im the primary caregiver for my wife, who has been having chemotherapy for her lymphoma. Those treatments have left her without much energy so Ive had to handle all of the regular household chores, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. Our daughter suggested that we get a home health aide and she was spot-on with that recommendation. The young lady we have in to help us has been a huge help. Forever grateful for everything shes done for us.

My father had a benign tumor removed in a surgery and he needed some in-home post-op care. A nurse visited to make sure he was taking the meds that had been prescribed to him, to check his vitals and his surgery site. Great for him and for us to be able to have a nurse visit him at home as hed been instructed not to drive in the immediate days following his surgery.

My mother had fallen twice in her apartment (twice that we knew) and she hadnt been able to get up by herself. Shes 87 years old. Those falls prompted us to arrange for one of their nurses to meet with my mother in her apartment and do a low-cost assessment as to whether she was okay to be living alone or not. The nurse thought that my mother would be okay living aloneprovided that she got some regular care from a home health care aide. We arranged to have an aide visit my mother two days a week. She loves the help and the companionship.

Like the fact that they are willing to set up a schedule that works for their clients. They are very flexible.
