On March 2, 2024, I contacted Abid Construction. I had small damage to my ceiling by an upstairs leaky radiator. Also, in another room, minor damage to the ceiling and wall due to a roof leak. I engaged Abid Construction to do the above repairs and also to re-caulk my shower stall that had a small leak and to re-caulk around the sink in the powder room. Well, the work done on the ceiling and wall was really excellent. However, much to my dismay I had to call Abid Construction back 3 times because the caulking of the shower stall was so poorly done that made it worse than when he started. By my 3rd call I told Abid that I would caulk the shower stall myself. But no, he insisted that he would come the next morning. He did not come, nor did he call. I ended up caulking the stall myself and it has not leaked since. I made the mistake of paying in full without a holdback to ensure satisfaction. Caulking the shower needs hours to dry prior to use so I paid the full amount. You can see from the pictures how water was spilling onto the floor. The caulking around the powder room sink also does not look professional at all.
