City Central Dermatology

I am a regular patient at this office , Dr, Berry and Dr Marina Matatova are excellent in the way they treat their patients but the girls at the front desk are absolutely horrible and rude, as if they are paying us to visit the doctors, I will not go back to this office after today, I called last week informing them my insurance was changed , I asked if they needed my new information , the girl responded "no" just come and bring your card. When I show up for my appointment this morning at 10.45am the girl at the desk rudely tells me you can't see the doctor you need a referral , I said, I took time off from work to come here can I just pay for the visit , I need to see the doctor and I am already here, she said NO its illegal to do that with an attitude , let me get my manager to explain it to you, the manager comes out and does not even acknowledge me but starts printing a paper to give to me, repeating the same thing as the rude girl before, its very upsetting that as a regular patient this is how I was treated, I said, are you deny me to see the doctor? she looked at me with a blank face pushing the paper through the window, so I just left with a bitter taste, I will never go back there , they seem to forget they are getting paid because of the patients , without us you will not have a job! keep that in mind front "desk girl" on Tuesday MARCH 19TH 2024 and manager who needs training in social skills. Horrible in patient care!! If you're educated and don't want to treated like garage do not visit this office.

I understand this is a private practice and with that being said my experience with the doctor has always been pleasant. However there is not a website or portal to access information which is very inconvenient. And honestly I find the reception staff rude and unwelcoming. I've been going here for years and have officially decided i was fed up. This happened when i reached out to this practice while abroad a few months prior and requested some council and was not provided any assistance or compassion. I have a choice in my healthcare and i just cant deal with this level of service anymore. Would not recommend long term.

Paulina is a great dermatologist, you can tell she loves what she does. She has helped me over the many years for all my skin problems.

The doctor and her staff were very nice and hospitable. As much as Id like to rate her more highly, she told me a rash was a reaction to a medication and suggested I not take an antibiotic another doctor had prescribed. The next day I tested positive for Lyme disease.
