Dr Avram is the best dermatologist I have been to! Ive seen other derms and he was the only one able to help me successfully clear up acne and scars Ive struggled with for years. Ive started laser treatment with him and it has been working very well. He makes sure to prep my skin and make it as painless as possible and sends me home with everything I need to avoid any inflammation or discomfort. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and Ive never had to wait too long. I definitely recommend him!

I made appointment with D.Avram 3 weeks ahead of time. upon arrival I was told I was not scheduled yet even though I was miraculously already on the system. They let me wait not too long to see the doctor but doc was not attentive to what I had to say about my skin condition. I am dealing with this skin condition over 6 years now and I really hoped to find a doctor that would listen closer to what I am saying. He prescribed me cortisone cream that irritated my skin even more ! And it was supposed to be safe. Give me a break about safe medication when it comes to chronic, auto-immune diseases! There are supplements that I take made from natural ingredients that help my immunity and hence skin condition like nothing else and he had not even heard of it or was interested to learn. I am a freelancer and at the moment have no insurance so the visit and cream cost me 500$. Did the docs office not have a sample that I had to pay hundreds more to get a giant tube of it? Also, when I called next day, the secretary (is she even qualified to converse with me about docs prescription!?) made me feel like it is my fault that docs prescription made my flare-up even worse - victim shaming and no kindness at all. Doctor was supposed to call me back he never did. I am writing this because I have had enough of the system when you get to take advantage of without help! My intuition tells me more than studying for years to only become a salesman for pharmaceutical companies. ~Justyna
