I am not sure what exactly happened but when I tried to use my daughter's Sandisk SSD, it suddenly started making some unusual noises. I got scared so immediately plugged it out so it doesn't cause any trouble. But since that, neither my daughter nor I could get any access to the device. I could live without it but not her with all her assignments there. Before just buying a new drive and trying to move on, I came across to PITS Global . We scheduled an appointment and dropped the device there. By their procedure, they firstly do evaluation, which indeed happened, and then we started the data recovery. I don't know how long did it take but it was definitely way faster than I expected. They didn't get half of the data nor 10 or 20%, it was fully 100% back. That was awesome news so here I am sharing my experience because I know that I am not the first or a last parent to whom this issue seems familiar

What can I say, everything went smoothly and I had no issues at all. The team was fast, and the recovery process was completed faster than the expected timeline. I remember talking to John and not being sure if it was possible to recover my data, but during the verification session, I saw all my files once again and could scroll through each of them. At my request, they sent me both a cloud link and shipped a new hard drive. I will definitely use them again if needed.

My recent dealings with a data recovery service underscored the importance of cautious engagement with companies offering technical assistance. Initially, I was informed that my SSD required a chip-off data recovery procedure, quoted at a staggering $1,899 with a 4-6 week turnaround. Skeptical of this assessment, I requested the return of my drive, only to be met with fervent pleas from a technician named John, who insisted on their exclusive capability to handle the case. Despite their attempts to retain my business by offering a 10% discount and warning of potential data loss, I remained unconvinced and insisted on the return of my drive. Upon receiving my drive back, I sought a second opinion from a different service, 300dollardatarecovery, which identified the issue as mere bit errorssubstantially less severe than initially diagnosed. Their solution cost me $500, including a rush fee, starkly contrasting with the original quote and the exorbitant $5,210 fee for a 1-2 day turnaround proposed for the same service. While I do not question the technical expertise of the initial company, their business practices appeared misleading, prioritizing profit over transparent and honest service. The insistence on unnecessary services and additional costs, such as the initial assessment fee and mandated payment for return shipping, only added to my disappointment. This experience serves as a cautionary tale, especially for those not well-versed in the nuances of hard drive data recovery. It highlights the critical need to seek multiple opinions and opt for services that prioritize integrity and transparency. In my case, a more trustworthy and straightforward service not only resolved the issue at a fraction of the cost but also reaffirmed the value of due diligence in selecting a data recovery provider."
