I was fortunate to meet Mr. Conroy on a case for my young cousin back in the 90's. He was then a public defender. Mr. Conroy came up to Harlem in his t-shirt, jeans & converse sat in my living room & took statements from everyone who would give one for my little cousin on some chumped drug charges the police placed on my cousin at the time. I can't forget the day of court Mr. Conroy came into court immaculately dressed making an everlasting impression in my mind Well just let me say my cousin came home that day with all charges dropped. Many years later Mr. Conroy and myself had another arrangement this time I hired him for a case for my husband again our paths crossed in arraignment court, where he appeared for another young man but, my thoughts were when I heard his name is I have to hire him, he's my husband only chance. Let me say this my husband came home. Again he worked his magic. May God bless you Mr. Conroy. You was a great public defender and deserved every penny you received of compensation for my husband case. He knows his job. He plays to win.
