Eventfull NYC was the best decision I made for my sisters Baby Shower on March 31, 2024. We had biggest spread of customized hors d vours for our guest. One bite size morsel was more delicious than the next! The presentation was fabulous! The staff was kind and generous. And the clean up was immaculate. Im waiting for my next party so I can call Melody again!

EVENTFULLNYC was pivotal to ensuring my baby shower was a success. The staff was superb. The food was excellent. At the end of the night, my guests were raving about how much they enjoyed the flavors. Melody was professional and flexible when working with me to execute my vision for feeding over 100 people. The professionals at the party were punctual, friendly, helped with overall setup. They ensured my pregnant wife was well-fed and hydrated throughout the night (shoutout to Olga), and packaged leftovers into easy-to-go packages so guests could grab something for later. They made my life easy so I could concentrate on being a good host. Now I dont have to look for a caterer when I need to throw another event; Ill be coming back to EVENTFULLNYC. Thanks again.

We started out with a simple vision for our wedding day. Eventfull made it a composed reality. Melody and her team, from start to finish, were the consummate professionals! Extremely easy to communicate with; An attentive ear to bounce ideas with; Excellent recommendations when we had no idea what we were doing. They allowed us to explore our imagination, yet ground us with their thoughtfulness. As our Day-Of-Coordinator, Melody handled every moment with poise and experience. We didnt know until way afterward that our DJ was extremely late and was having power and sound issues. We didnt know that the bar we ordered from the rental company couldnt fit up the stairs to the loft where cocktail hour was being served. It had to be replaced at the last minute. They took care of everything! Instead, we never felt stressed or overwhelmed, allowing us to focus on each other, our family, our friends and the moment. As our caterer, the team prepared food that turned out better than our original tasting. Throughout the night, they made sure we were fed and our glasses were full. They helped us make our day the specialness it deserved. Again, we cannot recommend Eventfull enough!

The food was good and the day-of service at my wedding was great. As the bride, I was looked after well, my coordinator was communicating easily with their team, and my guests enjoyed their experience (esp ones with dietary restrictions). At the time of booking, we were able to plan a fully customized menu! I think I only picked 2 cocktail apps off the regular menu, everything else was a special request and the tasting was constructive. Leading up to the wedding, however, Melody added significantly to my stress in planning. I was sent to the rental company with a proposal full of random placeholder numbers for items I didn't need. Melody was not clear about what items were non-negotiable (for the kitchen) and what she would provide or what I was allowed to choose. After ~30 drafts of the rental order, she would continue to "offer" me items and then send another email to the rentals without my approval to add unnecessary things and confuse everyone. Our contract was drawn for 180 guests, but I ended up with only 156. Final headcount was due 2 weeks ahead, and even though I abided by that and was within the contract's drop rate, she gave me a hard time. She said she adjusted the staffing levels/times, but I only saw her remove their hourly rates from my view, as I was previously able to see how much and how many hours each staff member was hired for. Take screenshots! Lastly, I was also charged $3pp for lemons and limes for the bar (over $450 for garnishes!), among other seemingly small but annoying changes. But maybe it was just me. UPDATE: In response to the reply about the additional bar charge.. $3pp is AFTER I volunteered to bring all the other drink ingredients. It was originally $5pp and I brought all my own juice, ginger beer, bitters, sour mix, etc. (which is obviously stressful to me and my family on my wedding day). This was ultimately stupid on my part, but I was tired of going back and forth as she stressed me out.
