        Having been a patient of Doctor Brener for a TAVR recently, I found Doctor Brener extremely friendly, knowledgeable and caring for the patient. I was very happy to have chosen Doctor Brener as my doctor for the procedures that I had.I would recommend Doctor Brener if one needs this type of procedure. I also found my recovery at NYP/METHODIST HOSPITAL pleasant and the other doctors and nursing staff both caring and friendly.

      Sorin J. Brener, MD

      Sorin J. Brener, MD, F.A.C. C, is board certified specialist in cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. After completing his residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, he went on to become their senior staff cardiologist, director of the angiography core laboratory and head of the acute revascularization program. Dr. Brener is also a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.
