Carver Federal Savings Bank

My experience today at this branch was nothing short of excellent. I went in with an unusual issue, however Robert, who is the bank manager along with Ken really helped to navigate what was happening and found a solution. So I wanted to take some time to write this review and acknowledge how thankful I am for the patience and diligence that was exhibited today. Through everything, we must always remember to extend grace, despite what ever may be going on; we are all humans doing our best day to day. Thank you!

How does the branch manager close the door in an older bankers face!!! So unprofessional! ITS 9AM AND THE WORKERS ARE STANDING OUTSIDE WITH THE BANKERS! How is possible the a branch supervisor comes to work at 9am and the bank opens at 9! What kind of services are you provided outside of taking up property for an actual qualified bank! THIS IS THE WORSE BANK OVER- if you need your money you wont get it. If your Horrible bank. Opened an account in December 2022 and didnt get my debit card until Feb 2023. Finally received the card, go to the bank and no ATMs are working. Ofcourse I have to go home and get an ID to take out money face to face ! My money has been sitting in their bank for 2 months, theyve invested and profited off my money and I dont even have access to it! Not sure how the FDIC even allows this business to continue! I would close the account but it Im sure it will take 2 months before they acknowledge it! Never had these issues with any other bank

This branch has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had an appointment I was indeed late too but once there I sat there with NO ONES approach for 10mins until I just walked to find the Rep. Robert who literally said he just emailed me which he should of professionally called me or came out to see me sitting there but still sat me down to only entail all hes following app. & cancel. This was the worse banking experience but I shouldve realized the lack of professionalism by Robert & the bank when I 1st made the appointment & never got a email as stated, I called back left a message for him to call me back because I didnt think he got the correct email & never got a response until the CALL the evening before my actual appointment conveniently! THIS BRANCH & ROBERT RENNIS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS

Idk where are these great star reviews are coming from. Granted, there are some amazing people that work at this place but theres only so much they can do. This particular location; 90% of the time the one atm thats available isnt working and when the atm is working the door to the vestibule is closed until further notice. During the pandemic, THEY WERE THEE WORST. Most banks extended the withdrawal limit, they did not. Good luck getting your card to work. Ive been using my card all week, cut to the weekend, its being declined multiple places. I called the fraud department and they said its working, no its not. I joined this institution because its supposed to be black owned, and Im starting to think it is. When I joined in 2019, they didnt have Apple Pay or Zelle. They arent my only bank so thank gos for that because Ill be in a crazy bind. Daily.
