        I had to go in-person to close a CD (btw, it is not "convenient" that I have to do that in-person), and they had a hard time finding my account. After 50 minutes of the three employees failing, trying to convince me that I needed to bring in my expired foreign drivers license, cracking jokes and calling me "love", and trying to "up-sell" me (), they finally found and closed my CD. The experience has convinced me that I need to close my account with TD.
