Big screamers! If you think art class in 2024 should be like British boarding school in 1920 or a Russian state run child athlete program, this might be the place for your child. Sent my kids here for a daylong class on a non school day. They reported being screamed at the entire day. When my wife called to ask what happened (without screaming), the female owner screamed at her and hung up. Then the male owner called back to apologize but also said my wife was being emotional and having a hard time. I talked about it with friends who had recommended the place. They then asked their kids more about their experiences and learned that they get yelled at too.

In the fall of 2023, we received a highly insensitive phone call. We do not appreciate harassment from anyone, especially since it seems race-based, and we encourage others to read this commenter's previous reviews of other businesses. We are an Indian American-owned small business and we pride ourselves on the inclusive, gentle, and deeply creative atmosphere we foster at Rosebud Art Studio. Hundreds of parents can vouch for how much we care for and respect our students. We welcome everyone to the Studio, as it is the governing principle of art-making. Our student artists have produced exceptional work in the two years since we proudly began our organization and we are excited to continue to guide and mold the future artists of Brooklyn!
