Hart Studio Architecture

We hired Matt to work with us as our Architect on our first major Home Renovation after purchasing our first home. During the initial project phase Planning Matt helped us understand what to expect and how the end-to-end process worked. We reviewed the scope of the project together and collaborated with him closely on aspects of the technical and functional design of the space including but not limited to soundproofing, lighting, electrical/plumbing, and adhering to other DOB requirements. He provided clear, timely and specific feedback on the information he needed as an architect to complete the drawings, as well as providing feedback on our overall design. As a result, we were able to translate our initial laymans design into DOB-compliant drawings. Once our drawings were finalized, Matt was able to quickly push our plans through the DOB approval process so we could start the build. During the build process, Matt was available for clarifications and provided tips to the contractor and I on what rules would need to be followed for each part of the build. As a result, the job ran very smoothly with no issues from inspectors or the DOB. Were glad that we worked with Matt on our first project he definitely provided a level of stability and know-how which was felt from beginning to end! Thanks Matt!

Matthew was great and complete with his work. He was very helpful and passionate about his craft which was a delight. He has been with our business project from A to Z, including interior design and outdoor signs. Highly recommend.
