I have used this company before years ago. I was pleased then and I am pleased now. I needed an apartment with bad credit. This company helped get a guarantor. I highly recommend Nycurbanapartments.

Good company. They helped me with getting a guarantor which led me to getting an apartment. I would totally recommend them if you are having a bad experience finding one.

Everyone that did not leave a comment you can smile about you said the same line your voice has no merit all voices have one including yours , I dont need to come in to that place of business to clearly see how you operate.

This company, to me, is a scam. When you are speaking with a specialist, they do not have a personal conversation with you. They give you a specific video to watch on their tablet. If you have questions, you may ask them to the specialist. However, the specialist only repeats what is already stated in the video and does not answer questions directly. In addition to this, they advocated for affordable housing and apartments. However, most of the time, the list of apartments that is posted on their site is still high in cost. You could find these apartments yourself online!! When you question them on this, they state that they can only control what the providers of the rentals give them and that they do not control the price. Although this is true, they make it seem like they have many apartments that are affordable and they do not. Also, sometimes when you call the landlords, they are not even responsive! Overall, it was a waste of 150 dollars. They send you emails stating that they have sent your "cover letter" to multiple landlords and other people; however, no one gets back to you. I paid for a 3 month service from this company and did not find a single thing nor did the landlords of other sites reach out to me. The company tries to advocate for themselves by suggesting that they are able to send your application to more sites than you would be able to and that is why they are helpful. This is a load of bull just to pull you in so that you can feel like they are doing something. If you ask me, do not use this service. You are better off hiring a broker or just submitting applications on your own. This company is a long lived scam.

I want to warn others that this company is not helpful. I figured of giving it a try since there was so many mixed reviews. But I paid 150 dollars and went to the office to discuss everything in person. The assigned specialist, never reached out to me unless I reached out and still didnt do anything. They will tell you to look on the site to check for apartments, if you cant afford to pay at least 1,500 for rent then checking the site is useless. Its usually rent that is 1,500 and above. As someone for myself looking for low income apartments, the site is unreliable. They do have low income apartments towards the bottom but again its a whole different process which they dont help you. And I found it suspicious that how they sent my cover letter to like 100 landlords and I got an email confirmation and yet not one reached out. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Try other sites like streeteasy, housing connect. Waste of time and money.
