My son lived in a Belmont apartment for the 2022-2023 school year. The staff at Belmont was very responsive. The super, Julio always came right away to resolve any issues. Highly recommend.

All properties are infested with rats and/or mice. The Lorillard Towers and the house on 188th St are also infested with bed bugs. Landlord doesnt do anything about it. Dont rent here if you dont want a headache.

Having lived in Belmont Realty's 188th Tower on East 188th Street and Lorillard Place for the past twenty-seven (27) years, we have had an ongoing mouse infestation for over the past seven years that this landlord has refused to exterminate. There have been a series of leaks and downpours of water in the ground floor vestibule on at least half a dozen occasions from July 2016 till May 2020 that have impacted a number of apartments in the building from the top floor to the first. In addition to charging several tenants in the building an illegal second security deposit after taking ownership of the building, even after being provided with proof that at least two were purposely held by the previous landlord, Belmont Realty owner Pasquale Perretta still refused to return the fraudulently obtained monies to the current tenants. If you like living with dozens of mice, cracked ceilings, walls, peeling paint, having to throw out rodent chewed through food, as well as clothing and other possessions that have been ruined by water leaks, and being presented with illegal rental charges,  this realty company will fulfill all of your needs.
