Metro Urgent Care May 2022: The doctor doesnt seem to be on site on Fridays - virtual appointments are available, or the one at 2200 Grand Concourse has on site doctors 9-5 Fridays. Covid Testing 2021: The staff were all friendly and helpful. For Covid testing, get there early - when they open at 8am if possible. They dont have a lot of space inside, so be prepared to wait outside. They give out tickets to people waiting in line. If you get there after 2 or 3 pm you may not get a test that day. I waited over four hours in line yesterday and got a ticket, but at 8pm they ran out of tests three people in front of me. They gave me a pass so I could come in first the next day and not wait in line again. They also make you choose between rapid test and pcr. If you need it for work, pcr is the one you want. It takes a few days to process.

Today December 28, 2021i went to Essen Urgent Care on 1550 University Ave for a rapid Covid test for employment purposes and stood on the line for hours. Only to be told by one of the staff that tickets were given out earlier. There were several people in front of me and mad individuals behind me. It was about five o clock. What did the staff want to do for the next three or four hours? Chill out We only found out that we werent going to be seen today because an African lady came out furious saying that she didnt have a ticket. Hearing all the uproar a young staff came out side and placed a Closed bulletin on the slope, she didnt answer questions, she ran back inside so unprofessional and yelling COME BACK TOMORROW AT 8:00 AM! This is one of the worse experiences I had at Essen Urgent Care, staff is not adequate to service such a crowd. We stood in line for hours in the cold just imagine when it snows. Maybe Ill stop by and bring people something warm to drink

I called at 5:05 to know what time they close for covid tests and I was told 8! I got there at 5:30 and they did not let me in saying they closed at 5!
