    I came here with my mother to help her apply for a new job (11/10/23) as her patient with her old agency recently died. However, the receptionist and or those who assist them with applying are very rude and condescending the way they speak to people who they see as immigrants, especially Africans, or have an accent when communicating. It's incredibly disheartening because HHAs are the backbone of every agency and without them these arrogant receptionist' wouldn't be able to get paid.

    As a caretaker of a late stage alzheimers patient who, in addition, is bedridden and nonverbal, I will tell you first hand that this agency does NOT have aides trained to care for their basic needs. This agency hires anyone who can pass a background check but are not qualified to attend to special cases. A good majority of these "trained" aides do not know how to change a patients diaper, bedding, or clothing; do not know how to properly move or position contracted people, which may lead to injuries, do not know how to bathe bed bound patients and have no clue how to use medical equipment such as a hoyer lift- a basic necessity. These are all safety concerns that the company is aware of and have not made the drastic decision to address immediately. The coordination department can't manage to inform aides of the patients state and does not make the genuine effort to accommodate QUALIFIED aides to work overtime because THEY loss money. It's unbelievable. I'd also like to mention that the director of this agency by the name of Katia clearly does not know what she is doing. For a "manager" to be too important to directly speak to a client's caretaker with legitimate concerns and needs is unprofessional. These concerns should be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner, seeing as they deal with disabled and handicap individuals who are entirely dependent on aides for everything. In addition, whoever is "training" these aides need to be replaced, and management needs to initiate an entire customer service training program because attitudes do not mix with families who are struggling to care for terminally ill patients. The lack of empathy and compassion is beyond my comprehension. If I owned this business, I'd be embarrassed. To end this review, I would say Amazing Homecare is not the way to go. Families, please proceed with caution. My main priority is to make sure my father is safe and there have been too many instances where he was not. Despite the many efforts to "resolve" these issues, the reps I've spoken with instead respond with "I'm tired of this" as if they face endless nights without sleep and are caring for him. In my years as a caretaker and advocate for disabled people, I've never seen such a mess of a company. Best of luck to all families in search of help.

    I went to an orientation yesterday and the instructor was unprofessional, she got there sipping her coffee and not even introduced herself, I felt like she didn't like me because she was rude to me a few times, when I finished practicing with the hoyer lift I was supposed to take off my gloves and I did it wrong, she rudely asked me to move and sit down! So disrespectful!
