The worst Agency to work for they need to shut down that agency very unprofessional all they care about is money especially the coordinators they dont pick up the phone or call you back

I advise you if in fact you, love your elderly family members Not to use Allen AKA Elara Caring assistance. Most girls cant speak English & I had the mishap to encounter problems with both supervisors & home attendants They left my mom unattended for hours cause I spoke my mind to the incompetent supervisor Noemie then Iris went as far as covering up for her however she lied. The grievance I put forward though substantiated was Never resolved to my satisfaction. They tried to sweep it under the rug as most agencies are known to do. Well with intentional act of the supervisor leaving my 85 yr old without assistance for a few hours my dear mother was left disoriented & despondent which I noted & although the grievance dept seemed concerned there were no real action taken by them but to say they have a better staff if I choose to come back after I did the best move ever actually the health insurance Cordinator immediately transferred me to another agency. Most the workers were lazy didnt cook much or well. Stuff went missing & sadly the girls were engaged in unnecessary gossip also making false accusations to the agency that again I was able to prove them wrong! The headaches & frustrating moments cause by an agency claiming to help the elderly is completely misleading so please save yourself the aggravation & dont trust there services Try other agencies that arent working in bad faith & cover each others knowing they were neglectful & more concerned with their position than the clients.

My mom and i are not happy with this service at all, the aides that come to our home are rude, disrespectful and do not speak much english or creole

ZERO STARS, Allen health doesn't care about the patients never answer their phone even with their own extension. Reported various time about lack of service and no response. If your insurance only uses Allen health care pray you don't get JANIBELL the coordinator, she would wait to the last hour to find coverage or won't send anybody and refuse to answer her phone. She would switch night time home aide to day shift and vice-versa and wouldn't notify them. Her weekly calendar of schedule workers is always incomplete, she would say promise one thing and do another. Her supervisor DELMI would do the same. They figure one of the kids would be there or the home aide who just completed a 12 hrs shift can stay for another 12hrs. Only after I made several complaints with healthfirst about Allen health not sending home aide to cover a 12hr shift on 4 different occasions, 1 arriving 3 hrs late, 1 arriving 7 hrs late and 1 arriving 7 1/2 hrs late in 1 month did i get a call back but not with resolutions or apologies but excuses. STAY FAR AWAY or you will be calling your job or having to miss work period for your love ones.
