Perfectly fine... unless you like going for walks, parking spaces, privacy in the bathroom, or smoke detectors. The hotel looks newly renovated and in general is nice. Large rooms at a reasonable price. The problem is the location. Let's say it isn't an area that you'll be walking anywhere for dinner or looking out the hotel window for the view. The website says parking is reserved but when you call it is a first come first served basis and there are about 10 parking spots for two hotels (two hotels share the building) so don't expect to get one. Parking is available around the hotel on the curb when/if you can find one. Expect to circle a lot and practice getting into areas with 6 inches on each side of your bumper. The bathroom door is a sliding barn style door. Why are hotels suddenly being "cute" with bathroom doors? The last hotel I stayed at had a frosted glass bathroom door and the design of this door left a large opening facing directly at the toilet. I could have a face to face conversation with anyone walking by. Finally, the smoke detectors were disconnected and sitting in a drawer. I'll assume it was disconnected by a guest but the missing detectors should have been caught by the staff during cleaning. Desk staff was very nice and hotel was clean so three stars but I'll never stay there again due to location and lack of parking. If you're going into NYC and trying to save a buck.... don't. It's not worth it.
