        My rating is -* one star which is not an option. The tax preparer did not know the tax code and I was told to look it up. I asked to speak with the owner as I wanted a refund of the $320 they charged for a standardized filing. Their service has declined as I have been a loyal customer since 2015. Now they have one tax preparer and she is not a CPA, has no customer service skills and extremely lazy.

        I have been a client of Lavin Tax since 1992. Lavin Tax has taken care of my personal and business accounts and I would never go elsewhere. It is like visiting family every time I enter the office. The staff is pleasant and welcoming and there is always someone available to handle any situation. I would recommend Lavin Tax to anyone who needs their taxes prepared.
