I have complained for years about this pharmacy. No staff so no service. Its a DISGRACE that in the Hamptons this store even exists. There is NO reason they dont spend some money and open a new building with a drive thru.

They do the best they can considering they are understaffed. Can’t get through by phone but people are nice

I had a very important prescription called in first thing in the morning. When I went to pick it up there was a sign on the door that said the pharmacy had closed early. I needed the prescription so I kindly asked if someone could just get it from the back and ring it up. Both the young clerk and manager flat out said they were closed and didn’t seem to care that I needed the medicine that night. When I told her it was a matter of life and death, she said I could ask them in the back. I was confused because the pharmacist was still there but closed and why hadn’t she asked them before saying no to me. When I went to ask the pharmacy, another clerk mentioned they were behind in 500 prescriptions so that was why they closed early. She also mentioned people were receiving messages their prescriptions were filled when in fact they had not been. She said they were short staffed. The pharmacist then came out, asked for my name and rudely stated he did not have the prescription and they were closed. During this difficult time of Covid, I can understand businesses are short staffed. What I’m not ok with is a pharmacy randomly deciding to close early with just a sign on the door because they can’t fill a prescription. On top of it, they were rude and did not try to offer any help given the fact that the prescription was so important.

No one answers the phone at the store. Spent three hours on the phone yesterday and almost two hours trying to get an URGENT prescription filled.

There are 8 people in line at the Bridgehampton walgreens to pick up prescriptions and ONE clerk. The person at the counter has been discussing insurance for 15 minutes. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS STORE? I have to get prescriptions here because I have that awful aarp walgreens drug insurance plan. STILL WAITING. NOW 9 PEOPLE IN LINE. ONE CLERK.
