ACME Markets

Wish I could rate this place lower. The older staff is so rude. As if I am bothering them when I ask a question. (The one older lady who always wears a winter hat is great, she deserves a raise and nearly everyone else should be fired) Also they never have anything you need. Sunday at 4 pm nothing but rotten lettuce in the produce department. Maybe 2 registers out of 15 open. Since this place has changed hands to an acme it is no longer a friendly well stocked grocery store, just a place for nasty food and people to collect. Do better.

You can find good deals at Acme but check dates on everything, I have gotten expired yogurt by mistake . The produce was looking very old today and I did not buy any because of that.

Bought signature select bacon from here. The 3 pound bag. Awful , it is all fat. Its one of the worst bacon purchases Ive ever made.

This is the absolute worst grocery store in the world and I wish it wasnt the closest one to my house. I can come here for one item and they wont have it, or if its a vegetable it will be rotten. I have NEVER been able to buy vegetables here. I wouldnt feed them to my dog. In addition to that, the staff is incredibly rude. I have had several instances of being made to feel uncomfortable or harassed by the staff during checkout. In the deli area I have been made to feel uncomfortable by an older male employee while trying to buy meat, and at the self checkout I have had staff members make comments about me while lifting groceries. It has gotten to the point where I have to write this review because it saddens me that this is my closest store. I hope it closes and something else opens here someday.
