Over all things where great. The room was a bit of a let down. But the bed was awesome. Staff were amazing. Dinner at the convention was awful. Dry chicken and vegs. Stayed at the Sagamore over February break for a romantic winter getaway. There were lots of families and fun to see the children having so much fun. They had ghost stories for kids in the morning, a very shallow heated pool that was magical as the snow fell, the indoor pool and jacuzzi was really nice with a bar in the pool area. We had fun playing ping pong in the rec center. There were s'mores and great acoustic music at night... the resort is perfection!

Beautiful old hotel in a great location. Most of the staff is very friendly which makes the interaction with the bartender in La Bella Vita Ristorante so odd. We walked up to the bar and grabbed two seats near a corner. The bar was relaxed, not busy, and golf was on the TV. The bartender was literally right in front of us and he never bothered to look up and welcome us or say something like, "I'll be right with you". After about two minutes he walked to the other end of the bar and started taking care of other customers that were already seated. Didn't think much about it, but after close to another 10 minutes, I became more aware of the time passing. After two or three more minutes he walks over and while looking down at something behind the bar asks, "What would you like". I ask for a menu and he goes to get one. He gave sufficient time for us to decide what we wanted and he comes back to take the order. My partner ordered what they wanted, as I try to order, a server from the sofa and table area walks up and starts talking to him about something. I never got to finish the order so we got up and left. It was such an off-putting experience in what was otherwise a great time.
