We just got back from camping at letchworth valley campground & resort and it was such an amazing weekend! We got to take the paddle boat out a few times, rode our bikes all over the place multiple times, went fishing, and we saw a bald eagle! Our dog boomer also had a blast running around and making new friends. The staff was very nice and friendly and brought us wood a few times. Playground: Theres a play ground with swings, a basket ball court, tetherball, kan jam, kayaks, paddle boats, horse shoes, and a whole swimming area with a water slide that theyre working on getting up and running, theres so much to do! Restrooms: Brand new restrooms with brand new showers!! Dog-friendliness: Our boxer made friends with the staff and had such a blast! Picnic area: They have a pavilion that overlooks the lake which would be a great spot for any party

We had an absolute blast over Memorial Day weekend on their 1st full year as the new owners/operators. The entire (huge!) campground is a work in progress, but the area our site was on was very nice with a view of the lake. There is a great mix of basic water & electric tent & rv sites, boondocking sites, rustic tent-only sites with access to potable water nearby, cabins, and pavilions to rent. Near the cabins is an updated bathroom/shower room, and next to the office are 2 shower rooms that will most likely be upgraded in the future. They have a lot of projects they are working on and/or planning, and they are learning as they go, but they are extremely receptive and want to please, and they want to make this place great. I think they are well on their way, and we are already making plans to come back. Dog-friendliness: As long as you clean up after your dog & keep them leashed/secured, your pups are welcome here. We saw quite a few and they were all seemingly well-behaved. I didn't even notice that some campers had their dogs with them!

The owner and staff have worked hard at trimming and fixing it up and making it a truly beautiful area to camp and enhance the already beautiful lake and scenery. Playground: Working on it! Restrooms: Restroom and shower buildings and also porta potties. Dog-friendliness: Yes! Just need a copy of your Rabies Certificates, etc. Picnic area: Every site has a picnic table and there's a big Pavilion!!
