Best uhual in the area! I already had givin them 5 stars, but I'm here to add that the employee "Eric B" was extremely helpful, respectful, understanding, and outstanding. Along with all of his coworkers. And the manager here , who's name is slipping my mind is also vary friendly. I highly suggest this uhual over vestal !!!! Vestal is terrible !!!!! Bingahmton uhual on Chenango street is tge way to go!! Thanks Eric !! I use uhaul maybe 5-6 times a year for my business. Hopefully less this year because uhaul is slightly over priced if you ask me! But this uhual is outstanding. I'll never not use bingahmton uhual.

In September 2023 I went to U-haul to pay my bill and found out that someone head robbed my unit by going aboveThe unit through the crawl space which was supposed to be secured by a metal net between the hall and the unit as well as a metal net between each unit as told to me by a uhaul worker. (Uhaul neglect) climbed into the ceiling defeated the unit by removing 2 nuts from the back of the door that should have been welded as i was told by the u haul manager(U-haul neglect) and robbed my unit and took their units items and didn't pay the bill on their unit. I was told that my unit had been robbed in August and that the camera system had not been working or active (U-haul neglect) months prior to my unit being robbed by a uhaul worker And no one ever called me and told me I only found out when I went to pay my bill(Uhaul neglect). They also had not had the camera unit working for more than 3 months, which I was told by one of the workers which would have allowed the police to identify the robber. Everyone is claiming they don't know who it is they have an idea, but they can't contact the person. An itemized police report was filed by me. A report was filed by the manager at U-haul. And I have still not spoken to anyone at U-haul other than filing a claim.(Uhaul neglect)They know that this happened. They know that they were at wrong and they still have done nothing to rectify it. I am out roughly about $10000 in value that I paid for my items not to mention the appreciated value of some of my items and no one has had the decency to do anything about it. In spite of the fact that their camera system was not up or the protective metal netting (ADMITTED BY UHAUL WORKERS!), which is their fault, which they installed in September after my unit got robbed, (NEW CAMERA SYSTEM ONLY) as well as not have had the crawl spaces protected. SO... still to this very da...no one has had the decency to call or send me any money or tell me anything. The last that I heard when the manager spoke to his boss. They were told to tell me to show them the receipts for all that was stolen. who has and keeps receipts through 15 years of purchases till now. An itemized police report for all my items was filed by me the same day. I'm out of about 10.000 dollars in actual value for what i paid for the items stolen.The manager knows of some of the things that were in my climate controlled camera and theft equipped unit.(supposedly)because he has seen them. But yet no one above him has had the decency to call or even try to financially rectify the issue. Fifteen years of my life as well as tools and items of my livelihood As well as items that I was keeping for my kids and grandkids that would appreciate in value over time. I am emotionally and financially mortified. I have done business with Uhaul all for years. To be treated like this, I'm appalled and ashamed and await some sort of rectifying Of this situation to happen. I have worked too hard all the years of my life as well as being an honest citizen for this to happen to me. Hopefully the news picks this up. Shame on you U-haul.(CUSTOMER NEGLECT!) You have been negligent in your diligence to secure my items, I'm waiting.

The people here are so nice. Today my friend and I were here and there was a woman inside who was being extremely immature and verbally abusive to a woman behind the counter. I felt so terribly sorry for the employee working. She remained calm and maintained her composure so well while this woman continued to scream at her throughout our entire time there. There was another person who worked there who was not even working but he stuck around to make sure the woman was okay until a manager could get there. We were glad to know someone was there with her because the customer was exhibiting such concerning behavior and we felt so bad for the employees. Throughout the entire process the people helping us were so professional and we were so happy with our rental and the sweet woman behind the counter. Please be kind to people.
