The technician from MJS (Eric) was able to assess the source of a leak within our walls and repaired it quickly and efficiently. We were very happy with his work and will be sure to use MJS again if other plumbing issues arise.

Sadly we have no hot water after a water filter system was installed. The company has no emergency service and hasn't responded to my phone calls, emails, or texts. I'll change the rating when they fix our problem.

Charged $100 just to come by and give a quote, which no other contractor has ever asked for. The person who came by was nice and helpful. We got our quote that included plumbing for an apartment above the garage, central air and septic tank. We decided they were the plumbers we were going to hire, but needed more clarification on the apartment plumbing since there were a few details missing on the quote. We called and got confirmation that the work we wanted was included in the price ($3200), but asked for an updated quote that described the work so we knew there would be no issues later. We got back the quote at $3600. They added $400 for no clear reason since they had just confirmed the $3200 quote was for everything we needed. When we called back to schedule the work with them and also address this extra $400. Our intention is to finish the apartment above the garage before completing the renovations in the main house, so we can have a kitchen and clean space to live while we do a large renovation in the main house. So this month the intention is to hire the apartment plumb gin part only and the rest in the Spring. They told us that in this case the price is $5500 because we are not hiring them for everything and the $3200 was a discounted price. The quote never mentioned any discounts, they never mentioned any discounts and they just lost a client that was going to spend more than $70,000 in projects this year (central air, septic, new kitchen, new laundry room, bathroom remodel, etc.) because of how dishonest they are coming across. Save your $100. Many other capable plumbers, HVAC and Septic contractors will come look at your project happily for free.
