The Luminous Bride made my wedding day that much more amazing. Courtney and Jules were a dream to work with and made me and my girls look seriously fantastic. I am not a makeup person and Courtney really LISTENS while also providing little tidbits about what she's doing and why she's doing it. She made us all look effortlessly glamorous and Catskill chic. I had a very last minute need for professional make-up services finding out day prior I was going to be included with the actual wedding party professional photos. Not only was Jules the first to respond but it couldn't have been a better experience. I'm not one to often do my own make-up or wear much and I wanted natural but made up and was so impressed and happy with the results. She asked all the questions about my skin type and routine and walked me through the process so I knew what was going on. She has a very calming and fun presence which I t think is so vital for wedding sessions especially. She even listened to all the nervous rambling as I let out how nervous and emotional it all was because I wanted and needed to keep it together for the family to be wedded and who went through so much to get where they did. I got as much crying out as I could before the event and she was patient and awesome all throughout. I cannot sing enough praises for the fixer she used because by the end of an entire night almost 12 hours later there was barely a mark on the required mask! But most importantly she came through with graciousness and professionalism but genuinely as well. I felt comfortable, confident, beautiful and ready.

Working with Jules on our wedding day was incredible. She was really knowledgeable, fun to talk to and such a calming presence on a (slightly!) stressful morning. She arrived early with a full suite of makeup and armed with face masks and a shield to keep us all protected and healthy in 2020. With everything that happened this year, I didnt get a chance to schedule a trial with her, but Jules immediately made me feel comfortable, asking me about my skin type and makeup style. She looked at photos of me in makeup I like to wear even though it took me forever to find a photo since I havent worn a lot of makeup in 2020 :)! Her suggestions were excellent, especially when I couldnt decide which color lip to go with and she also picked a lip stain that lasted all day and didnt bleed on to anyone elses skin or clothing. She set a timeline for me, my mom and the mother of the groom and stuck to it and even had time to give us a few touch ups before we left for the main event. And finally, we all loved our look. Were so very excited to work with her again in 2021 when we have our big wedding with (hopefully!) our full guest list! Jules is a real pro and I cant recommend her enough. Jules and Courtney did my hair and makeup for my wedding in August and I couldnt have been happier! They listened to exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job.
