Wonderful breakfast of fresh fruit followed by yummy banana nut pancakes with real maple syrup. Neil and Darlene are such generous hosts. This is a lovely, quiet Victorian inn with lots of character. Antique furniture and beautiful artwork throughout, including originals of Bannerman's Castle. The perfect weekend getaway!

My wife and I wanted an easy getaway, we four children. This Inn was such a a nice retreat for us. The room was just what we needed and beautifully decorated while staying to the Inns theme of swans. But what really made me love this room was the tub, perfect for two, we soaked for hours into the night. I thought the breakfast was going to be something simple and easy just to get us out the door but it was prepared with care and presented with love. We will be going back.

My wife and I stayed at the Swan Inn for a weekend to attend a concert at the Town Crier Cafe. We stayed in the Blue Room that was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. Our room was very clean , well equipped and welcoming. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays and had a combination sitting room and breakfast area. We had two delicious breakfasts of pancakes and French toast with fruit and a sorbet. Coffee, tea and snacks were available all day. Darlene and Neil are wonderful inn keepers with a wealth of information on the area. Thanks !!!! Mary and Joe

My husband and I decided to take one night out for ourselves and wanted to spend the night at a local bed and breakfast. We had such an relaxing and wonderful time at the Swann Inn. We arrived when the weather was terribly cold (in the single digits). Our room was the "blue room", and arrived to a warm bedroom and bathroom. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and my favorite part of the room was the lion claw bathtub! The bathtub fits two adults comfortably. There was bubble bath soap and epsom salts provided. The couple that own's this bed and breakfast are so kind and make one AMAZING breakfast. We were served a homemade pina colada sorbet, fresh fruit, shortbread cookie, and a cinnamon orange French toast. The details they put into the breakfast was beautiful and delicious. I love how the owners even kept to the swan theme during breakfast by providing butter in the shape of a swan and will wrap your leftover breakfast in the shape of a swan . I also appreciated the room we were given to enjoy our breakfast. The atmosphere captured a victorian style theme. I loved the coffee/tea station and food that they provided in the downstairs area, a huge bonus it's open at all hours! My husband and I have already set up plans to visit again in the spring and hope to stay for two days at our next stay! Any locals or travelers, you will be elated with your decision to stay at the Swann Inn.
