    Awful experience. The key box on our door died and we were locked out of our room from 11:30pm-2:30am. Girl at the front desk was no help and made us feel like there was no solution. Felt very unsafe as we had no place to stay for the night, and everything we had (epi pen, passport, toothbrush, clothes) was all in that room that we could not access. At 2:30am they gave us key cards that somehow worked. Havent heard anything from management regarding any kind of compensation when we were told that we would. However we were charged in full, after being told on day 1 they would charge us upon exit. Absolutely brutal. Never booking with best western again.

    Do Not Waste Your Time Going To This Hotel. First of all, the staff here are very rude even though I have been very nice to them. Second, the breakfast is atrocious, there are rotten scrambled eggs, waffles that are bland and tasteless, and horrible potatoes. The customer service is terrible. I mean Jess, Crystal, Chris, and Jessica are fake and dont have real professionalism. The rooms are small, overpriced, and not clean. Please Spend Your Money On A Better Place Nearby.

    I stayed at the Best Western and the Adria for close to 3 months due to my son being very sick and needing medical care in the area. I am a diamonds reward member and have given best western over $100,000 over a long time span and today they lost a valuable customer. The management Jessica and Andre which as a professional myself, I expected to be honest, professional, and respectful but after time I saw Jessica playing a lot of games. The staff - Chris, Crystal, Jacklyn, and many others were often rude, inconsiderate, and quite often extremely disrespectful as I always went down with a smile, greeted them kindly, and even went out of my way to buy them food and drinks from Dunkin on a day they were stressed out. My bills were always paid early or before check in time straight for months. The hotel has a D rating and the rooms are often not the cleanest. I witnessed the staff giving others much better rates as one of them accidentally gave me a sheet with charges to other customers as she had me sign my room card. These were people staying for 1-3 nights and I was able to see all their names, charges, dates, and rewards information. To show how unbelievable the unprofessionalism was Jessica gave me a print out with not only my rewards information but other members at best western. The place had regular parties and they were so loud while staff did not ask them to quiet down when after all this is a hotel not a night club. They had broken computers and printers which after months were still not replaced and dont even get me started on the basic broken tea / coffee machine at the entrance that every guest expects to receive after the $200-$400 payments per night. Please do not make a mistake like I did trying to be nice and give to a company with a D rating building and services. I found a much nicer hotel in Flushing closer to the train and my work. Finally, it is so far from the main world that its just not worth being around such nasty and deceitful workers with their toxic energy. Please give your money, time, and kind self to people that deserve it. I am adding to my post after the worker from the company responded to my honest review. This was my experience at the Best Western Gold Coast and my overall experience. There are others that have experienced the same and they have documented their real experiences online which is why you have many 1 & 2 star reviews that sound similar. Im staying at a 5 star hotel Ramada now and the service is impeccable. No one is rude, breakfast is excellent, its extremely clean, no one bothers us and the price is less. Everyone minds their own business and they give us a genuine smile everyday. Your own staff Crystal and Chris have complained about the managers (Jessica and Andre) to me and others that I then addressed. If 5 people are not allowed, then why are you breaking Hotel policy and admitting it online. I asked several times and was told this was allowed unless you lied and should be fired. I think your boss should read this review and your ridiculous response. Your response speaks volumes and please no one give them your services or money when you can get a cheaper rate all over Queens and NY. Please check out better 4 & 5 star hotels like the Ramada, Sheraton, etc in the area.

    Terrible customer service and experience at this BW property. While there recently the lock malfunctioned on our door, not allowing entry to the room at around midnight. When we went to the front desk, we were told by the woman working that night that there was noting she could do to get us in. She said their handy-man was sleeping (wake him up!!!) and that he had the following day off, so she said she didn't know when we'd get access. All our belonging were trapped, including an epi pen and key documents. When we said we were going to call a lock smith, she said we could not, despite not doing anything to help us or being able to tell us when we would have access again. It took 2 hours, from midnight until 2am, before we were able to get into our room. The next day at checkout we were told after asking for compensation for what we had to go through that our card had been charged at time of check in, after being told when checking in that we could split payment at time of check out. So which is it?! The person working the desk said they would discuss the situation with the manager when they got in and an email would be sent with an update. It has been over a week and still no email from this hotel as promised. I called the hotel manager today to follow up and got her voicemail. We'll see if the calls me back to deal with this situation. HORRIBLE customer service and experience. Do not stay at this hotel!!!

    I recently had a rather disappointing experience at the Best Western Queens Gold Coast hotel. One of the main reasons for my dissatisfaction was the rude behavior I encountered at the front desk. Upon arrival, I politely inquired about the possibility of an early check-in. However, the staff at the front desk responded in an unprofessional and impolite manner. Their lack of courtesy and willingness to assist was disheartening and put a damper on my overall impression of the hotel. As a customer, I believe that it's important to be treated with respect and understanding. Unfortunately, my encounter with the front desk staff left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. While I understand that accommodating early check-ins may not always be possible, there are more appropriate ways to handle such inquiries. A simple explanation or apology would have sufficed, but the staff's demeanor was dismissive and rude. Based on this experience, I regret to say that I will not be returning to the Best Western Queens Gold Coast in the future. It is disappointing to encounter such negative customer service in what should be a hospitable and welcoming environment. I hope that management takes note of this feedback and addresses the issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

We have countless emails from you praising our staff for the wonderful service and kindness we have shown you during this difficult time.  We have emails as recently from you as March 31st.Please understand that our ability to accommodate guests is subject to the availability of rooms. While we strive to provide excellent service to all our guests, there are times when our occupancy reaches its maximum capacity. During such periods, it becomes challenging for us to fulfill every request, even for our valued long-term guests like yourself.  Your needs with your family of 5 occupants exceeds the occupancy of the rooms that we have available for your requested next stay.  We offered you different accommodations and you refused.We have been more than accommodating with regards to your room rate, and we explained to you that during certain times of the year, we are able to offer a lower rate, as you actually  always did get our best rate for your occupancy. However we are in our busy season and even you discounted rate goes up with the season. You have always received the rate you were promised for the period booked.  You were unwilling to understand and felt that we were deceiving you. We did not.As you can see in our past reviews, we are very well respected in the community, and we are well known for service. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors and I am sure there are other hotels in the area that might be able to accommodate your needs
