My experience at Sunrise Manor was awesome I had paula as my day nurse and Linda as my night nurse and they were both wonderful nurses also they're very intensive their staff is awesome very attentive I'm going home today and I can finally walk because of Mary and Mark my physical therapy I felt the need to write this because of the wonderful outcome I've now have George the head nurse is absolutely helpful he was my go-to guy if you need anything just go to George thank you Laura Kern

My mom was injured and was blessed to be sent to Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Everyone who works at Sunrise Manor is kind, friendly, and considerate which includes the administrative staff, nursing staff, physical therapy staff, maintenance staff, food preparation staff and transportation staff. The building is clean and neat. My mom and I were able to connect with and have valuable relationships with other residents. When my mom was discharged, it was a bittersweet feeling because it was like we were leaving part of our family. We plan to return to visit everyone there. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs excellent care during rehabilitation.

I was a resident at Sunrise Manor for almost 8 months. I was in pretty bad shape when I got there. I couldnt move I couldnt do anything. It was amazing the care I got in this facility. The Aids are professional Insightful and patient. They do everything to make sure comfortable. Fortunately they have the new director of nursing Anne-Marie, stepped up to the challenge and is doing an amazing job. Her nurses follow her lead. And they were all right on Point with everything I needed. The physical therapist team are my super heroes. They pushed me to do things I didnt think I could do again. And now Im home and walking around. The recreations team is awesome. Even when I didnt want to participate they Didnt give up on me.They continued talk and motivate me. when I finally went down it was great. The activitys and the interaction with other residents was wonderful. It help my recover a lot. The maintenance department did a wonderful job keeping the place clean. My room was well kept. my family came by to visit me and was very comfortable .The facility itself was very clean all the maintenance man Were courteous and attentive to everyones needs. For them it wasnt just about cleaning it was making sure everyone had what they needed. The front desk girls were great. I never went down to the Ground floor without being greeted With smile and laughs. And they made everyone feel welcome when they arrive for visits. The cafeteria was also great. Making sure you got the food you wanted. and if something was wrong they always corrected it. And had it sent up to your room.The Social worker was amazing as well as all the other departments absolutely a job well done The administrator YONAH COHEN Is really holding it all together. He is doing a magnificent job he even participates in recreation activities. I can go on and on about this facility I wouldnt be home and doing well if it wasnt for them. They really take time to know the person to give the right care treatment understanding to everyone needs Thank you so much for getting me back to my family

My love one is in the facility and my experience with Michelle VonGerichten RN, director of nursing on 2/26/22 was unimaginable she called my cellphone at 2am to advise my mom wasn't doing well and they needed to run test...never addressed whom she was, 1st off my mom isn't in this place it's a different loved one..so u panicked thinking something happened to my mom ..who was home and fine. Then she gets it right on it being my sister.. I states ok do the testing needed..she ends the the call with ok talk with you in the morning "love you" I'm. I let bit confused. I call back in the morning and Ms M VonGerichten, us rude tells me she can't speak to me do to HIPPAA,she was nasty. Good thing I called here while standing in the lobby of the facility and had her on speaker, where her staff was able to witness the conversation. I will be reporting this to Mr. Y Cohen. On monday,, and I won't stop there. She needs to be removed from the facility, she stayed on speaker call.."be thankful I call I gave you a COURTESY "courtesy huh...okay. people like her give nursing the bad rap of being uncaringand makes people concerned with the type of care our love ones receive when we arent around making people afraid. But I will be my sister voice and ADVOCATE for her.
