The floor was dirty all the way down the hall. Smelt like Marijuana. The hallway smelt like cigarettes and Marijuana. Doors to rooms were open that were unoccupied (probably to air them out). There was no ice. The guy at the counter said the ice machine broke. Coffee was awful tasting like it was sitting there for days. Breakfast was skimpy at best. Nobody cared it seemed. Room was clean otherwise. Edit: I forgot that the staff stared at my wife when she walked by and she mentioned it to me at the time. As I said, the owner doesn't care based on their comments.

Gem of a hotel, lovely neighbourhood, quiet, clean, wonderful staff. Safety: Very safe neighbourhood, plus the hotel keeps the side doors as exit-only, for the safety of guests.

The hotel was nice. Clean rooms, reasonable rate, good staff at check-in. My reason for 3 stars on the rooms was because it was extremely noisy. I recommend bringing ear plugs or you will get very little sleep Rooms: The visitors above my room were stomping around and then at 4 am a plow truck worked the parking lot for an hour. I swear they made much more noise than necessary

This hotel is a toxic dump. From the moment you enter the building you will be overwhelmed with the smell of heavy toxic air freshener that is used to cover the smell of mold and mildew that permeates the facility. We reserved two rooms both of which had plumbing problems, one had a toilet that continuously leaked from the base leaving puddles of water on the floor and the sink in the other room was completely clogged. The water in the hotel is overly chlorinated so much so that my eyes began to water and a headache developed as my husband showered and the chlorine began to vaporize quickly flooding the room. Bring your own drinking water - the ice maker was broken too which initially was a nuisance but ultimately, a gift in disguise. Fortunately, the window opened in the room and I was able to ventilate. Glad we were on the first floor because we could climb out of the building in case of emergency, I observed fire safety codes being violated throughout. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls, the towels and bed linens need to be replaced, the carpets are dirty. This property has been neglected and is in disrepair. Looks okay in the pictures but does not accurately reveal what you will find when you visit. The staff was completely disengaged and were very defensive when sharing any concerns - completely unprofessional. Good location but only if your are desperate - Safety: fire safety concerns Noteworthy details: toxic space
