Urgent Veterinary Care

Everyone here was incredible with my very nervous dog. Explained the process, treatment, and next steps for my dog with an orthopedic emergency throughout our whole visit. I was incredibly nervous for the bill at the end and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the visit was.

I took my daughter and her dog. Her fur baby ended up losing half of his ear. They were wonderful to him, and us. Kept us informed of what was going on and his progress. They also did follow-up checks on him. Would definitely recommend them. It was a Saturday morning. They were busy then. They were still busy at 5. So they do take priority 1st there.

This is the absolute worse veterinary clinic around! They do not care at all about the animals or the owners!

We have utilized Auburn Urgent Veterinary Care four times; on two occasions when one of our dogs needed treatment, and two times when each of our dogs was critically ill and as a result, needed to be put to sleep. When the care was treatment, everyone was very attentive and thorough. When we were there for their end (they passed 3 weeks apart and each time it was a Saturday) the entire staff was gracious and compassionate. They were clear in explaining how things would proceed. Their supportive environment and approach gave us the strength to see them through their last moments. Our area is fortunate to have this clinic available on nights and weekends. Our family is grateful to them for helping us say good bye to our pups with care and dignity.

I would like to start by saying that I have no concerns over their medical expertise or qualifications. With that said, this is well below the minimum level of efficiency that should be considered acceptable in veterinary practices. Setting achievable expectations with customers is important. On 4 separate occasions we were given a time expectation that was extremely unrealistic, and they failed to deliver on all 4 occasions exceeding their specified time expectation by hours for each one. Recommendation, do not set unrealistic time expectations that you cannot met. This place is extremely underequipped and too inefficient to handle more than true emergencies. Please take the time to go to Syracuse or even Rochester instead of this place. You will be far better served and your pet will thank you.
