Over the past years, I have brought some groups during the summertime to visit and stay a few days in Cayuga County. This area offers many attractions and dining options. It is a great place to visit and not too far of a drive from New York City.

What a great space! The Equal Rights Heritage Center is a real jewel in the heart of Auburn's downtown, highlighting New York's unique role in abolition, women's suffrage and more. Auburn and Cayuga County are well represented, and this is an excellent starting place before you head off to the Seward House, Harriet Tubman Home, Fort Hill Cemetery, and the other wonderful historic sites in the region.
