We are going to be homeschooling for the first time this year. Shannon has been amazing with every step of it. She truly loves what she does and will make sure that you completely understand everything before she moves on to the next step. Being a first time homeschool mom, I had many doubts about myself doing a good job with my son. Shannon has helped me gain confidence in myself and the process and has offered to be right there for me and my son when we need her. Im not sure that I would have went through with this without her. As a current high school student that goes to a rigorous private school, I can confidently say that Ms. Shannon gave me an irreplaceable homeschool experience. I homeschooled with Ms. Shannon for 4+ years and absolutely loved her! Her personalized curriculum pushed my limits while making learning fun, and wherever I was struggling she would make sure to hone in on and close the gap. Transitioning into high school has been the most seamless and enjoyable experience because of her and how well she prepared me during the years we worked together. For many years, I struggled with math and Ms. Shannon was patient with me and identified the problems I was having, so we could diligently work to correct them. She has also made me so confident in my writing abilities and I am now flourishing in ELA. This was our first year doing home schooling I honestly did not know what to expect and was actually scared not just for me but for my two boys one in 6 th grade and the other in 7 th .. well let me tell you this has been the best decision I have made for my boys and Shannon has made the transition for them easy for them . I highly recommend Shannon for anyone considering homeschooling.
