During my new patient intake process with your billing representative, Sandra, in person, I found the experience to be extremely unprofessional. The interactions were marked by rudeness, inappropriate behavior, and a notable lack of professionalism and patience. Specifically, there was a discrepancy regarding my insurance coverage, which I attempted to address by explaining that if I was not covered, I would be eligible for straight Medicaid. However, Sandra consistently interrupted me and conveyed a disrespectful tone, undermining my attempts to communicate effectively. Despite my efforts to clarify my insurance status, she seemed unwilling to assist and neglected to apologize for the inconvenience caused by her dismissive attitude. Ultimately, I was compelled to handle the verification process myself and discovered that my Medicaid coverage was indeed active. Sandra, after checking straight Medicaid, discovered that I was eligible, yet she remained dismissive and failed to apologize for the inconvenience. It is deeply disheartening to encounter such a lack of compassion, respect, and professionalism, especially in a healthcare setting. Additionally, it is important to note that I am currently experiencing pain and am covered by two active insurance policies. Consequently, I have made the decision to seek pain management services elsewhere. It is concerning that in 2024, instances of this nature occurred at the Albany Center Pain Management Center. I asked to removed myself as a patient and I was told that the billing will not charge me because they would shred the papers.

Left 3 voicemails and submitted two online requests as a new patient over 2 weeks ago after my primary MD sent in a referral and MRI images. No call back. Very frustrating. If they are not accepting new patients they should put that on their website.

Initially, I didnt have a great experience but the doctors and office manager helped to steer me in the right direction as far as doctors to work with alongside figuring out how to deal with my pain issues in this office. Ive never had a pain management doctor care about me as much as this office.
