I couldn't have been introduced to BWBC in a better way. I met Zanade at a networking event in such an organic way, she listened to my story and where I was with my business. I recently was a recipient of a wellness grant for the Restorative Rest retreat hosted by the BWBC and it came at the best time. I was able to connect with other Black women business owners for an entire week of rest, workshops, connecting and prioritization of self. Zanade was really intentional with ensuring that the experience was cultivated for us to pour into ourselves. Often business spaces center the business but her program placed the owner back at the center, which allows for us to do the work we do from a full cup versus feeling depleted. Thank you Zanade for creating the Black Women's Business Collective. It truly is a platform created by a Black woman for Black women. Every time I interact with the space via an event, email or social I feel seen, heard and energized to walk in my purpose!

BWBCs A Collective Timeout was just what I needed! I was able to unplug and rest from the busy world while also connecting with some of the brightest and most powerful Black women. Spending time in nature allows me to reconnect with myself and others on a personal level. The Black Womens Business Collective is one of the most genuine organizations that support the efforts of self care and emotional wellness. I hope that this retreat is offered on an annual basis because we need it. !

I had an amazing experience at the BWBC A Collective Timeout retreat. Being able to find community with other black women entrepreneurs and being given a space to rest unapologetically was incredible. Every journal session, sister chat, and activity was so well thought out and each activity allowed me to realize the importance of wellness in my life. Thank you so much to the BWBC leader, Zanade, for putting together such an unforgettable experience for us black women! Im excited for the future of BWBC and so grateful I get to be a part of something so great!
