I love dr Mondelo but nick from accounting and did not get along.He told me i was most difficult and i probably was but therte were unresolved matters.I made a payment of 30 dollars by swipimg my card and was offered a receipt which i should have taken.Nick told me i didn't swipe my card.The appoinment was for a physical and i should,'t have swiped my Card as you get 1 free physical a year.Nick said oit was more than just a physical because i had new problems that i discuused with the DR but i didn't. we did talk about old problems but they shouldn't have charged me 250$. To pauy the 250 Nick took copayments from other DR and a visit to the emrgency room to pay the 250$.The matter was some what resolved but had to go through a lot to get this done.Dr Mondelo is great.I swiched DR's because i didn't want to have to deal with Nick.

This really is only about my frustration in reaching this office. They don't answer messages or phone calls very quickly, and I have been on hold with them for over a half-hour at a time, with no explanation. I wonder if this is typical or just something over the past year, as I have been a patient for about 8 months or so. Super frustrating.

My main issue is one of vaccination. It was recommended that I be vaccinated for Shingles, and I was. One year later I received an overdue bill for 55$. When I called the office for an explanation I was told it was for the vaccination. I then called my insurance. After a few weeks and a couple more bills, the explanation was that Medicare paid for the vaccine by mistake and the 55$ were for the ADMINISTRATION of the same. I paid the 55$
So: let me understand this: I was given a vaccine WITHOUT being told it was not covered by insurance??? Now, the vaccine itself costs upward of $350 plus $55 for the injection. I must assume I appeared to be a wealthy woman since no one bothered to tell me it was not covered by Medicare or my supplemental insurance!!! Lets get professional!
In addition, and curioser and curioser, the same vaccine cum administration thereof can be obtained for $0.00 at any CVS or local pharmacy..
