I work for a company that received a quote for windows. The whole process has been a complete nightmare expense wise, ordering wise, etc. It is not all Richards Building Supply's fault as the contractor we hired also gave us some issues. This whole window replacement project should have been done last summer. I am still trying to get this completed.... Salesman is friendly and knowledgeable. I just am not sure what/why/how things have been delayed, wrong sizes, etc.

Contractors BEWARE - We had been purchasing materials from Richards for approximately 10 years. Throughout this time, we've given them in excess of 4 million dollars in exchange for their roofing materials. Each year they have honored a 4% volume rebate, whereas the contractor (us) is rewarded with an account credit that is equivalent to 4% of your purchases for the year. This year, we are left in utter shock and disbelief - as without warning they decided not to continue that - with no real credible explanation - essentially robbing us of $22,000 worth of account credit. If a company like this can do that to us - someone we've worked hand in hand with for YEARS - be skeptical of what they have in store for you. Do business elsewhere, there are better materials prices and other companies who are honest, value your relationship, and honor their word. I wish we saw this coming but we were completely blindsided. All local contractors should be aware of this, and take caution - don't be as shocked as we were when it happens to you.
