I went to the Albany location. Very welcoming and friendly staff. However I will not be coming back for makeup services. They did not provide what would be considered a professional makeup application. They had very limited makeup (no concealer,, only one blush, no setting spray, limited lip color shades & etc ). I paid $100 plus tip for a service that was not professional. I had to redo my face when I left. The artist was very nice and tried her best with the limited products that the salon had in stock. They should not say they provide makeup services. Save your money & go somewhere else for makeup.

Loved Jenn and loved loved my curls! She was great in showing me how to maintain and create the look on my own also. So hard to find curly hair people, she was awesome! Highly recommend!

I had a tremendous experience with Angela, Jade and Catherine doing mine, my wedding party's, mom's and MIL's hair and makeup for my wedding day! They were very kind, patient, and accommodating and did a wonderful job.

I walked away from my hair appointment today frustrated, confused, and disappointed. The hairdresser that I saw showed up significantly late. To be fair, she did text me - but only 25 minutes prior to my appointment. Because I was traveling over an hour for the appointment, I didnt see her message until it was too late. When she did finally show up, she apologized for the miscommunication. There was, however, no miscommunication. She was just late. The actual haircut lasted about 5 minutes. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she got to work. She did capture the length that I wanted, which was good. She also asked me several times if I wanted layers or angles added to my haircut. I had to tell her multiple times that I wasnt sure, because Im not a hairdresser. I knew what I wanted visually, but not how to achieve that look. I kept asking her if she needed to see my inspiration photos again, but she said she didnt need to. I really cant express how disappointing this experience was. The two staff that I interacted with - the hairdresser and the woman who washed my hair - were elitist and unwelcoming, making it clear that their salon wasnt one where I was welcome. Im not even sure why that was, but it was abundantly clear. They were rude and made me feel embarrassed for not knowing exactly how to achieve the hairstyle I wanted. I should also note that their website says $41 for a long haircut, but I was charged $65. In the moment I should have said something, but at that point I just wanted to get out of there. If youre someone who wants the exact same haircut, and knows precisely how to articulate it, maybe the folks at Bombshell can accommodate you. But if you want to try something new or if you just arent sure how to achieve the style youre interested in, stay away.
