***UPDATE!!!! 8/1/23*** TODAY THE ROAD/MY DRIVEWAY WAS REPAIRED. IT MUST BE A DIFFERENT CREW BECAUSE THE JOB WAS DONE MUCH MORE PROFESSIONALLY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB! A LITTLE CHUNK OF OF GRASS WAS PULLED UP ACCIDENTALLY AND THE GUY EVEN TOOK THE TIME TO FIX IT BY HAND. VERY PLEASED EVERYRHINFS BACK TO NORMAL! THANKS GUYS. OCTOBER 2022: The company was contracted by our village to replace a few streets. I am absolutely astonished how poorly our road was done. From what I understand, it was expected that what was removed would be replaced. I also assumed that the road would be feathered into the driveways. 2.5 inches of road was removed and after fibermat, Crushed stone and asphalt were layed down, there was still a 2 inch drop off of my driveway. In my situation, my driveway was redone last year, it was done nicely and it tied into the road. Now the village dept of public works had to remove 22 inches of my driveway and patch it. Very upsetting that my new driveway is now pieced together. If the road was done correctly, my driveway would have never had to be cut back, changing the appearance and the slope. There was also lose asphalt left all over mine and my neighbors lawn. There are several spots along the curb that have no asphalt at all. Come spring I can almost guarantee we will have potholes. My lawn was also dug up by their equipment. I feel this was a rushed, poorly done and very unprofessional job. I am extremely disappointed/unsatisfied. The quality of the road really isn't my problem, besides being a tax payer, but now that it's influenced my 1 year old new driveway I feel I have the right to complain.
