This is a long overdue post for Billy Golan and the Upstate Curious Team. We had the pleasure of working with Billy in our search for upstate property in which we landed in Sullivan County. Billy made the search fun, stress free and we built a great relationship. Billy and the Upstate Curious Team were always available to answer questions and concerns. We are loving the purchase and investment we made for the family and thank Billy for helping to make it happen!!

Diana and Bree were the dream team we needed to find our new home in the Hudson Valley! We reached out to Upstate Curious early on in our process when we were still exploring towns and trying to narrow down our search. Despite not being ready to start seriously looking, they took the time to speak with us, answered all of our questions and provided valuable insights and guidance on some towns that werent even on our radar. We kept in regular touch over the following months and once we told them we were ready, they both jumped into action. From meeting us at open houses, guiding us through the offer process, entertaining a million questions from first time home buyers, and so much more, we felt lucky to have them on our side. We were confident in their advice throughout the closing process and just about a year after we first spoke, we closed on our new family home! It was also such a help to be able to get trustworthy, local recommendations from people who know the area (on everything from lawyers and inspectors to wineries and stores!). We are so grateful to have had Diana, Bree, and Upstate Curious on our team and cannot wait to call the Hudson Valley home!

We had the best experience with the Upstate Curious team, specifically Craig and Monica. We worked most with Craig and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. This was our first home buying experience, so we didnt know quite what to expect, but Craig put as at ease and helped us feel prepared. We were previously living in Brooklyn, so wed take the Metro North up from the city and Craig would pick us up to drive us to the viewings. Ahead of the viewings, hed send us a very organized itinerary for the day with details about each of the houses. After the first day of viewings, we used the app to flag houses we liked and Craig was quick to respond directly in the app and share his insights. After a few viewings, we found our dream home! Craig kept us in the loop for every step and made himself available day or night - always happy to hop on a call and answer any of our questions. We cant express our gratitude enough for Craig and the Upstate Curious team! Highly recommend!

Long review incoming, but hope it's helpful: My partner and I just bought a home in the city of Newburgh with the help of Craig and the Upstate Curious team, and we have nothing but fantastic things to say! In fact, we've already referred him to a number of our friends who also have the Hudson Valley bug! Not only did Craig make the process seamless from the moment he contacted us, but he checked in on us regularly to see how we were doing and if we had any questions -- and we had MANY!! He walked us through every single step, making these first-time-homebuyers feel confident and supported. Craig was a fearless advocate for us when dealing with a prickly seller's agent and difficult sellers, and ultimately helped move our process along when things started to slow down, knowing our tight timeline. We can confidently say that there's no better team, especially for first time homebuyers who need a bit of hand-holding. I think the one thing that makes Upstate Curious a real standout in this competitive real estate market is their practice of pairing buyers with agents who live in the region/city/town in which they're looking -- other agencies/agents we've had brief interactions with drive up from NYC or Westchester County with no understanding or loyalty to the region/city/town they are touring, and just focus on the numbers involved. We never felt that way with this team. Not only were we being sold a house, but were also being welcomed into a new community. Craig was not only our agent and advocate, but also a future friend and neighbor with recommendations and excitement to have us nearby. If you're looking to move upstate, this is the team you want!
